This album was recorded in 1986 in New York City at Eras Recording Studios, and was engineered by the incredible Tim Geelan who had been on staff at CBS, and engineered dozens and dozens of great recordings. The band consisted of dear friends of mine, Dick Oatts on saxophones, Marc Copland on piano and keyboards, Joey Baron on drums, and the late Vic Juris on guitars. Due to some disagreements between the producer/label owner and I the recording was never released, so even though this was technically my first recording, my first released recording was actually Wide Open Spaces in 1990. This record is dedicated to the memory of the incredible guitarist and wonderful human being, Vic Juris who passed away at the very end of 2019.
